Process and Important Dates

Here's a brief outline of what you'll need to do:

Submit abstract electronically by March 17th, 2008 for review.

Prepare poster and presentation(see guidelines). Drop off posters by March 26th, 2008, 5:00 pm, in JEC 3004.

Present poster at the Research Forum and attend Awards Program on March 28th, 2pm to 6pm, DCC.

Have you written a paper for an independent research project or conducted interesting research related to your field of study?

Why not showcase your research, applied or theoretical, to the campus?

Ever wonder what it would be like to participate in a research conference?

How about a chance at a $500 cash prize award for your work?

Well, now’s your chance! Through your participation in the Undergraduate Research Forum and Awards Program, you will have the opportunity to display your work to faculty and students and have a similar experience to participating in a research conference!

It’s not difficult! All you need to do is to write a brief abstract on your project and submit it electronically (click here to jump to the registration form).

Your abstract will receive an expert review, and if accepted, you’ll create a powerful presentation during which you’ll talk about your project one-on-one with faculty and students.

So don't wait, now is the time to get involved. The Undergraduate Research and Awards Forum is Rensselaer's premeire event for you and your classmates to showcase your acheivements.

Submit registration form and abstract, including name of faculty sponsor
