With the growing need for mobile wireless networks, there are many challenges in broadcasting (one-to-all) and multicasting (one-to-many) communication. The main objective of this research is to obtain a network, rooted at the source that reaches all of the desired destinations using infrastructureless (peer-to-peer) communication along with direct communication from the source. We will develop algorithms forming energy-efficient broadcasting and multicasting trees that can manage mobile wireless operations with minimum energy and maximum lifetime.
