Elizabeth Martin and Tim Heiman, Chemical Engineering major, for their project , "Fabrication and Characterization of Nickel Nanocomplex Polymer Composites". Faculty advised by Assistant Professor Diana-Andra Borca-Tasciuc from Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering.

Christopher Coates and Joseph Magee,Chemical Engineering major, for their project,"Design and Construction of New Generation, Bio-inspired Photovoltaics". Faculty advised by Assistant Professor Dr. K. V. Lakshmi, from Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

Faculty advised by Assistant Professor Dr. Jan Stegemann from Biomedical Engineering.

Megan Salt, Biochemistry and Biophysics major, for her project, "The Role of Rho Family GTPases in Microtubule Organization During Epithelial Polarization". Faculty advised by Assistant Professor Lee Ligon from Biology.
