Award Winning Projects

One AML team tied for first place in a national American Society of Mechanical Engineers student manufacturing contest. In 1998, Team "Lumens" designed and manufactured a pocket flashlight for Energizer™ Battery.
Other awards for the AML have included grants from the inSociety of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Educational Foundation the areas of software gifts, faculty development, and manufacturing outreach programs.
