Sample Schedule for Dual Aero/Meche Major:
Aeronautical + Mechanical Engineering Dual Major
Class of 2011 and earlier: Aero Major + Meche
If you are majoring in aeronautical engineering, you can obtain a dual major in mechanical engineering by satisfying all aeronautical engineering program requirements (Class of 2011 and earlier), then choosing the following free electives:
- ENGR-1600 Materials Science for Engineers
- ENGR-2350 Embedded Control
- ENGR-4300 Electronic Instrumentation
In addition, your dual degree program in aeronautical and mechanical engineering must include:
Class of 2012 and later: Aero Major + Meche
If you are majoring in aeronautical engineering, you can obtain a dual major in mechanical engineering by satisfying all aeronautical engineering program requirements (Class of 2012 and later), then choosing the following free electives:
- ENGR-1600 Materials Science for Engineers
- ENGR-2350 Embedded Control
- ENGR-4300 Electronic Instrumentation
