Faculty

Matthew A.Oehlschlaeger, Assistant Professor

General Areas of Research:

· High-Temperature Kinetics
· Flow Diagnostics
· Energy Conversion
· Combustion

Research Activities:

Oehlschlaeger's research interests are in the areas of combustion, propulsion, shock wave physics and chemistry, hydrocarbon growth chemistry, and laser diagnostics for reacting systems. He uses non-intrusive laser diagnostic techniques to understand the fundamental chemical processes important in energy, propulsion, and materials synthesis sytems.
