Nanyang Technological University

As a leading institution of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is fast becoming a comprehensive university offering broad-based and multidisciplinary curricula, including schools of engineering, life sciences, communications, art, business, humanities and the social sciences. More than 20 percent of our undergraduate students hail from Asia-Pacific, including Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Through its 12 schools organized under a four-college structure, and two autonomous entities, the National Institute of Education and S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, NTU provides a high-quality global education to more than 20,000 undergraduates and 8,700 graduate students. The student body includes top scholars and international olympiad medalists from the region and beyond.

The university’s 2,500-strong teaching and research staff hail from more than 40 countries, bringing dynamic international perspectives and years of solid industry experience.

The undergraduate experience is not just about attending lectures and tutorials. Often, learning takes place outside the classroom and in informal situations.
Involvement in extracurricular activities is one way to appreciate what campus life is about. Planning and participating in activities is more than having fun. At the end of the day, students pick up useful event management skills, expand
networking capabilities, develop interpersonal relationship competence, and
most importantly, forge strong bonds with fellow undergraduates.
