Space is limited and registration is done on first-come, first-serve basis so get your forms in today!

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by BAE Systems, General Motors, Lockheed Martin, and the GH Foundation the day is free of charge for students, parents/guardians.

Student Eligibility:

We are seeking high-achieving eleventh grade girls (with A and B grades) who are creative, innovative and want to learn more about academic programs and career paths in which they can apply their interests in math and science. Junior girls recommended by their guidance counselors, math teachers, or science teachers to attend Design Your Future Day, will by the time they graduate from high school have completed:

  • Four years of mathematics through pre-calculus
  • Three years of science, including chemistry and physics.
Your efforts in encouraging these gifted individuals to attend the program will not only give them an extraordinary hands-on experience, but will open a window on exciting and stimulating high-tech professions!

Registration Instructions:

Students: Fill out the form by April 3, 2009 and give it to your Guidance Counselor to submit!

  1. Download the student registration form, or get a copy from your guidance counselor
  2. Return the completed form (with your parent’s signature of approval) to your guidance counselor by April 3, 2009 at the latest (parents who want to attend can indicate this on your registration form)
  3. Your guidance counselor will fax your completed registration form to Barbara Ruel at Rensselaer (fax number: 518-276-8788) in time to meet the April 3, 2009 deadline
  4. Confirmation of your registration will be mailed to your home address along with directions to campus and an information sheet.
